A very common health problem for almost every adult is backpain. There are a lot of causes and factors and it’s important to identify them in order to give yourself relief or treatment for those suffering from back pain.

First of all, age is an important factor which plays a big role in the overall health of an individual. Older people will experience a higher amount of back-pain because of the weakening of bones and muscles in the body.

A persons posture is the most important factor I preventing back pain. If you are an individual who works in an office where you are sitting at a desk all day, you will be more prone to developing back pain. But if you keep the proper seating position and the proper chair, you could reduce back discomforts.

Weight is another factor to developing back aches, so you want to stay on the leaner side so that you can maintain overall health and free yourself of back pains. Carrying extra weight can also lead to knee and joint problems.

If you don’t exercise regularly, this could add to your chances of developing back pains. Muscles that don’t get used tend to accumulate toxins which are known to cause aches and pains. Doing stretches will give you immediate relief, so make sure you exercise and stretch those muscles on a regular basis.

However, on the other hand, too much strain on your muscles such as bending and overworking the muscle will put too much pressure on your back. You don’t want to put too much force on muscles in the upper or lower back because it can become harmful.

Lessen your chance of getting back pain by participating in regular exercises and stretches, you can even go on regular walks. Whatever you decide to do, the key is to keep your muscles from being inactive.
